Message 1 : Exporters are getting RoDTEP amount indicated in their Shipping Bills. This is only notional and calculated at dummy rate, since the final rates are not notified by the Govt. The actual RoDTEP benefit will be available to the exporters once the rates are notified.
Message 2 : Registration for operating under the New Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations may be taken from the Icegate login by all stakeholders, viz. Sea Carriers and Agents, Transhippers , Custodians and Terminal Operators. Custodians are requested to register on ICEGATE and onboard ICEGATE MFTP for message exchange. Message 3 : Attn: For adding any supporting document to reply to the query, amendment to BE may be filed after uploading the document in eSanchit. For details, pl see step by step advisory Click here.
Message 4 : DGFT has mandated all IEC holders to update their Importer-Exporter Code(IEC) yearly between April to June online at DGFT website. For more details Click here.
Message 5 : In order to provide expedited customs clearance to any COVID related medicaments or equipment's, Trade is advised to kindly provide details in the online form.
Message 6 : ICEGATE Registration and SCMTR registration services will not be available from 1 June 2021 - 7 June 2021, as Income Tax Department is going to launch its new e-filing portal www.incometax.gov.in on 7th June, 2021 which will have impact on PAN Validation Services during this period. Trade users are requested to plan their ICEGATE registration and approval accordingly.

CODE OF CONDUCT
ADOPTED BY SPECIAL GENERAL BODY MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION HELD AT
7.15 PM ON WEDNESDAY THE 6TH JUNE, 2012.
1.
A member undertakes to organize his business as a profession providing definite standard of performance, professional responsibility and technical competence as a Customs Broker.
2.
A member shall charge only fair and reasonable rates. After taking into consideration relevant factors, the Association would be entitled to circulate the recommended rates of services to be levied by its members. Such recommended rates would be recommendatory and not binding on any members and each member would be at liberty to charge rate for services which it `considers fair and proper.
3.
A member shall in no way part with his earnings by way of commission rebates in charges or pay or try to pay as an inducement directly or indirectly any sum of his client procure business, except to his agent or to other members of the Association.
4.
A member may accept the work of a new client whom the other member was giving services provided that there is no financial dispute outstanding with the client and the other member. In the event of a financial dispute between the client and the previous Broker, the previous Broker will inform the Association. The Association after considering the matter may give a directive against accepting the work of the client, if found necessary.
5.
A member shall not, once a directive is given by the Association accept the work of a party who has not settled the accounts with a member or has grossly acted against the prestige and/or interest of the member.
6.
A member shall undertake to strictly follow and abide Licensing Regulations in letter and spirit.
7.
A member shall undertake to attend all seminars arranged by Association to date all latest changes in Customs Assessment and Examination procedures', FEMA, Excise Rules, Service etc.
8.
A member shall undertake to maintain proper records of Service Tax and pay Service Tax and any other Government payment promptly / in time.
